Packing for Napa

Napa is one of my favorite places to visit. And depending on what time of year it is, it’s so fun to pack for! I love visiting when the weather is on the warmer side, but not too warm! So, spring and fall end up being the perfect time for me to go. But even in the summer, the nights can be brisk. So I always recommend packing a layer or two. Soft, light and flowy sweaters are perfect for any time of year and can easily be taken off. Even though the weather is cold in the winter, it’s still NAPA and it’s still magical, just remember to pack accordingly.

I’ve put together a little packing guide so that you don’t forget a thing.

No matter when you go, there’s a good chance you’re going to be outside so I definitely recommend investing in a nice hat. Plus, hats just make every outfit complete! My favorite hats are by Janessa Leone. They’re definitely investment hats, but in my opinion, they’re classics and they’re worth it.

I love wearing sundresses to wine country, it just feels right! And depending your plans, you will need a cocktail dress or two.

You can totally throw a jacket or cardigan over any sundress and make it appropriate for winter, but if you’re thinking you might be more comfy in jeans and a jacket, definitely wear them!

Bring comfy shoes for wine tours and heels for dinner.

I also like to carry a cute tote bag that’s big enough to carry my camera, sunglasses, wallet, and also fit a bottle of wine or olive oil, just in case I pick up some at the wineries!

And most importantly, don’t forget your sunglasses!
